I love people. I love dogs. But I don’t always “get” dog people. You know the ones…they put sweaters on their dogs and over medicate them for diseases that really only apply to humans. They paint their toenails and hover over them in the yard, for fear they might eat (or roll in) something dead or formerly food. I like letting dogs be dogs. And I love the role that a good dog plays in a family. Laura and Warren are definitely the good kind of dog people. Their oldest, Tupper, hasn’t had an easy time of it lately, so they called me up to come over and make some portraits of the family. These photos are some of the highlights from our backyard session. I think it went pretty well and the humans were also quite pleased with the results (no word yet how the dogs felt about the photos.) Enjoy!
